Positions available - Olive Pickers

Casual hourly award wages ($24.80 for adults) plus super. Harvest will take at least three weeks, may go longer, starting on 17 May. Works best in pairs but individuals accepted also.

Must be physically fit, pay attention to detail to avoid stepping on the olives beneath you and apply a level of effort that reflects the payment of hourly wages rather than piece rates. It is fast-paced work that requires a high level of intensity and effort, it's not a Sunday wander through the olive grove. That said, it is fun and satisfying work in a peaceful Aussie setting and we often get returning pickers.

This job does count for second and third year visas. However, NO camping available on-site or in the local area - there are caravan parks and camping sites in Canberra which is only 20 minutes away.

Wages will be paid within 7 days of the end of your employment.
